TITLE
Forming Process of a 5083 Aluminium Alloy. Constitutive Model Covering a Large Range of Temperature

ABSTRACT
This article deals with the rheological characterisation of an Al-Mg alloy at strain rates from 0.01 to 10s-1 and at temperatures from 423 to 673 K. Tensile tests are carried out and an inverse analysis method of a finite element model is used to identify the rheological parameters. Different models are identified corresponding to different temperature.The validity of these models is then studied by checking the predictivity of finite element calculations of forming process. Two tests of stamping and extrusion making it possible to exploit the temperatures and strain rates ranges studied are carried out.The precision of the identified laws is then discussed.
