Ductility Loss Modelling for BCC Single Crystals
An elastic-plastic micromechanical behavior model written in the finite strains framework is presented. It is shown that the present model is able to reproduce the behavior for BCC materials during simple and complex loading paths. A ductility criterion based on the ellipticity loss of the elastic-plastic tangent modulus is introduced. Qualitative results obtained with this criterion are in good agreement with expected and literature ones.
